Principal School of Midwifery Aga Khan Health Services, Pakistan, AKHSP.

I did Midwifery in 1990 from AKHSP, Nursing Diploma in 1995 and Post RN BScn in 2002 from Aga Khan University Hospital Karachi. Presently, I am working as Principal School of Midwifery as well as additional responsibilities of Assistant Manager at AKHSP. Being a Principal I am responsible for managing the policies, regulation and procedures of schools, to ensure the enhancement of quality Midwifery education across the AKHSP. Strong liason at National level in relation with midwifery training. Being as Nursing Manager I am responsible for the Nursing Quality Assurance and other developmental tasks for all the secondary care facilities of AKHSP. There are ten secondary care facilities scattered in four different region of Pakistan when I see that nurses are trying their level best to maintain the quality of care especially in the remote area like Northern Areas of Pakistan where the resources are very limited and they are still make the difference.
